Pet-friendly plants

Living with a curious cat or dog and in two minds about bringing a plant home? This selection brings together species considered non-toxic to cats and dogs: two peperomias (Le Généreux and Le Magicien), the haworthia (La Coquette), the pachira (L'Aviateur) and the kentia palm (The Stunner), which reaches 67 to 77cm with its pot.

Most are delivered in the pot of your choice, with a label to personalise if you're giving it as a gift; Le Magicien is sold without a pot, ready to move into one of your own. Still, do try to stop them nibbling the leaves: it's no good for them, nor for the plant. Our pachira care guide has all the advice you need.
