This is the very first step in its life at By Charlot: every plant is chosen from the finest French and European growers for its shape, its sturdiness and its character.
Our growers
Less energy, less plastic
By Charlot works with environmentally conscious growers who keep their use of fossil fuels to an absolute minimum: their greenhouses in Italy and Spain are unheated, while those in the Netherlands run on geothermal energy.
When possible, they do without chemical fertiliser, save water and cut down on plastic.
Our MPS certifications

of our growers are MPS-ABC certified. The MPS-ABC certification is a pioneer in guiding the horticultural industry towards sustainable practices.

of our growers are MPS-GAP certified. The MPS-GAP certification requires growers to meet requirements in areas such as traceability, the environment and plant protection products.
